By registering for or sponsoring a pickleball tournament hosted by Pickle Tourneys, LLC, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Indemnification

Participants, sponsors, and attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pickle Tourneys, LLC, the host venue, and all event sponsors from any liability, claims, or expenses, including but not limited to injuries, property damage, financial or reputational impacts, in-person altercations, or other losses arising from participation in or association with the event. Your participation is voluntary, and you accept full responsibility for your own safety and well-being during the event.

2. Registration and Sponsorship Policy

• Non-Refundable: All registrations and sponsorship fees are non-refundable.

• Credit Option: Registrations canceled 30 days or more prior to the event date may, at the discretion of Pickle Tourneys, be applied as a credit toward a future tournament within one year of the original event date.

• No Refund for Policy Violations: Registrants or sponsors who are removed from the event for violating these Terms & Conditions are not eligible for refunds or credits.

• Pickle Tourneys, LLC reserves the right to postpone, relocate, or cancel any event at any point. Should Pickle Tourneys cancel or postpone any event, all registrants and sponsors will be given the option to receive a full refund for that specific event.

3. Code of Conduct

• Foul or Abusive Language: Foul, abusive, or disruptive language will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund or credit issued.

• Alcohol or Drug Influence: Individuals who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate, for their own safety and the safety of others. No refunds or credits will be issued for violations.

• Professional Attire:

These events are professional business networking opportunities. Attire must be professional and modest.

Prohibited attire includes midriff shirts, muscle shirts, short shorts, and excessively tight or revealing clothing. Spandex or leggings must be covered by shorts or long shirts.

Violators will be asked to remedy the situation or leave the event. No refunds or credits will be issued for non-compliance.

4. Personal Information

• Registrants and sponsors agree to receive follow up emails from Pickle Tourneys, LLC. The emails may pertain to the specific event for which you are registered, future events, surveys, or marketing information from business partners.

• Registrants and sponsors agree that their name, title, or company name may be shared with select sponsors and business partners of Pickle Tourneys or used in marketing materials or company information packets.

• All participants authorize Pickle Tourneys and others to use photographs taken at Pickle Tourney events, for use in social media, marketing materials, etc.

• All sponsors authorize Pickle Tourneys to use their company logo’s in event-specific materials (online and in print) and online in indicating past sponsors.

• Pickle Tourneys, LLC will never sell participant email addresses or other contact information. Participants can opt-out of receiving follow up emails at any point by unsubscribing from the email or by contacting Pickle Tourneys at letsplay@pickletourneys.com.

5. Physical Fitness Disclaimer

Participation in pickleball requires a reasonable level of physical fitness, coordination, and stamina. While efforts are made to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, accidents can and do happen, including but not limited to:

• Being hit by a paddle or ball.

• Tripping, falling, or other common sports injuries.

• Overexertion or injuries resulting from enthusiasm (e.g., attempting to jump the net).

Participants with disabilities should contact Pickle Tourneys to discuss options. Pickle Tourneys would love to work with our venue partners to make pickleball accessible to as many players as possible.

Use your best judgment regarding your fitness to participate. Consult your doctor if you are unsure if you are in the right physical condition to participate. If you choose not to play but still wish to attend, you are welcome to sign up to spectate, network, and enjoy the event.

6. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your participation in or sponsorship of a Pickle Tourneys, LLC event, the following procedures will apply:

• Initial Resolution: Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes informally by contacting Pickle Tourneys, LLC directly at letsplay@pickletourneys.com. Good-faith efforts will be made to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

• Mediation: If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to submit the matter to mediation, facilitated by a neutral third-party mediator mutually agreed upon by both parties. Mediation costs will be shared equally.

• Arbitration: If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration will take place in South Bend, Indiana, and the arbitrator's decision will be final and binding. Each party will bear its own legal fees and costs unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator.

• Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

• Exclusions: This dispute resolution agreement does not apply to claims for injunctive relief related to intellectual property, confidentiality, or participant safety.

• Time Limitations: Any claims must be initiated within one (1) year from the date of the event, or the claim will be considered waived.

By registering or sponsoring, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Non-compliance with any of the above terms may result in removal from the event without refund or credit.

These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time by Pickle Tourneys, LLC.
